Today was so much fun. We woke up this morning and decided to go to Ham's Orchard in Terrell, TX. We thought we were going to pick peaches, but they had actually already harvested their peaches for everyone. So, we went blackberry picking instead. Gabriel held the bucketfull of berries while Justin and I found the best ones. The orchard is absolutely wonderful, and whenever you come to visit the Vercher's, this place is one to visit with us. The orchard has a little storefront that sells the most delicious things: preserves, pies, homemade ice cream, and all the frest produce you could want. The storefront is set behind railroad tracks, and today we watched as a train slowed to a stop in front of the store, the conductor got out, bought some homemade peach ice cream, and left in the train. It must be really good for him to stop the train.
