Gabriel played pitcher most of his last season with the Panthers. He has a great throwing arm: strength and accuracy. He can also stop the ball and catch pop flys. He is becoming a fantastic baseball player. Occasionally, he would play first. He is also great at catching. The other first baseman was his good friend, Ty Arden.

Justin is a great coach. He is patient with the kids and patient with the parents. When he is questioning a call he is very professional. We are looking for a coach that share some of these qualities: patience can be a rarity in sports. But it is a great quality to possess.

After the game festivities: the kids always enjoy their snacks after the game. Its their reward for playing hard and doing their best!
Our Panthers placed second in the championship game against the Blue Jays and came in third overall in the league. We had another great season together.

After every season, we have a Panther party to celebrate a great season. We usually have it at a park and have lunch and a cake. Then, we hand out trophies to the kids. It has become a tradition to hold our trophies on the climbing rock at the park and take our kids picture.
At the end of this season, our parents gave Justin a special gift to end his Panther coaching year. They took a picture of all the kids, and then had each one of them sign their name and baseball number. It was very special.
Gabriel went to two baseball camps this year: Forney and Sunnyvale baseball camp.
He learned a lot at the camps and had a great time with his friends.
He also learned to be a catcher at camp. I think he enjoyed playing a different position for a little while.
