Today is the day, the day I have an 8 year old. My Gabriel turns 8 today. I know that may not seem that old to some of you, but it does to me. It means that 8 years has flown by. That 8 years ago, Justin and I began this journey of a whole new chapter in our lives. A dream come true for me. My kids are the best gift to me: I think I have the best kids in the world. Today, we spent the day spoiling my 8 year old. We decorated the house like a Hawaiian vacation, and made him a Hawaiian themed cake. When he woke up this morning, he was greeted with festive decorations and some special birthday gifts. We cooked a yummy breakfast together and headed outside to enjoy his new birthday bike. Then, we grabbed a few friends of his and enjoyed a few hours of fun at Hawaiian Falls Waterpark. He said he had an awesome time. He and his friends got dressed for their baseball scrimmage, and they all headed to the fields where Gabriel had an awesome game and received the game ball:) Then, we came home and enjoyed a relaxing time in the backyard before heading upstairs for bed.
