We had a great time during the crazy ice storm that hit North Texas the first week of December. The ice came down for hours. And when it was finished, we had ice so very thick that we could go ice skating in our front parking area. The kids came up with great ways to use our driveway as a sledding hill. At first, we used cardboard, but we changed that to laundry baskets. We could fly down our driveway. The kids loved all the icicles they found and used them as giant lollipops:) And we could literally skate around like we were on ice skates. It kept us home for almost a week, but we have made some unforgettable memories.
