The acronym AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. The goal of Awana is to teach kids God’s Word and help them learn to serve Him.
Gabriel loves Wednesday night because he gets ready to go learn about God and visit with his friends. They learn memory verses, watch puppet shows, and play all sorts of Christ-centered games. He has learned "God is truthful" John 3:33. This week we are learning a new one:)
Gabriel was actually being pretty silly in this picture. We had his favorite worship song on at home before leaving for church, and he picked up the flashlight and pretended it was a microphone. He is a true worshipper:)
