Gabriel played his first season of basketball in Upwards this winter. He had a great coach and a great time with his friends. Upwards is a fantastic program. During halftime, they have a bible lesson and encourage Christian values on and off the court. Wonderful! He was a great defensive player and received many red stars for playing great defense. And his wonderful kindergarten teacher came out to watch some of her students play ball: Cayden, Gabriel, Mrs. Key and Ben are in the last basketball picture.
Justin participated in a high school fundraiser for the senior class this winter. It was a unique one: donkey basketball. Each player actually rode a donkey while shooting the basketball. It was hilarious. They had to pull their stubborn donkeys all around the court. Sometimes they would go, and sometimes they wouldn't budge. And you had to be on your donkey while you shot the ball.

Gabriel, Justin, Chris, and Beverly headed out to a Dallas Mavericks game when they came into town. They had great seats and loved spending some great quality time together.
